Experts have listed four foods to avoid in order to lose weight faster. According to “MK”, one of them is white bread. It is a processed carbohydrate that can quickly interfere with achieving your weight loss goals.
This product lacks the fiber, which allows you to feel full, so experts advise choosing whole grains to prevent weight gain.
Dietitian Kara Landau, MD, gut health expert and founder of Uplift Food, explains that soluble fiber slows stomach emptying, making you feel fuller longer, so you are less likely to overeat with your next meal.
Landau also notes a lesser-known type of fiber that is still critical for weight loss: resistant starch. According to the expert, this type of fiber takes a long time to digest and, upon reaching the large intestine, is fermented by the beneficial bacteria living there.
“This fermentation process releases by-products that improve the body’s response to insulin, ultimately reducing the amount of fat in the waist area,” says the nutritionist.
You should also limit your consumption of fried foods as much as possible.
Note that fried foods tend to be high in calories, and eating in more calories than you burn contributes to weight gain.
