The tragic story of 59-year-old teacher Nadezhda Chukreeva from Kamensk-Uralsk, who was admitted to the hospital with coronavirus and died a week later, continued.
As E1.ru writes, forensic experts have established that the deceased did not receive adequate medical assistance. The health workers decided that the patient was suffering from a mild illness and prescribed antiviral medication and a mild antibiotic. However, the woman’s disease began to progress and turned into pneumonia. When a woman was to be connected to oxygen, she was simply dripped with an antiviral drug. According to relatives, she did not see doctors for several days. The patient died 8 days after being admitted to the hospital.
The children of the deceased went to court. The victims’ lawyers insisted that the doctors did not follow the instructions and treatment protocols, and a person died due to negligence. As a result, the court ordered the hospital to pay moral damage in the amount of 800 thousand rubles.
It is known that Chukreeva was vaccinated against coronavirus, but she could not avoid infection.
