The Russian authorities have developed a set of measures to prevent a strong rise in gasoline prices. This was stated in an interview with RBC by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.
According to him, among them is a decrease in the growth rate of the wholesale price, from which compensation for oil workers is calculated.
“Reducing the export duty is compensated by a reverse excise tax, this is an earlier decision, and this factor does not affect the rise in gasoline prices. The prices are influenced by the growth of costs and excise taxes, ”said the deputy chairman of the government.
According to him, in order to neutralize these factors, proposals have now been developed to adjust the damping mechanism.
