Ukraine should be annexed to Russia if the current policy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues, said the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“I am deeply convinced that if Mr. Zelensky and his team behave in this way, then Ukraine should be annexed to our country. Ukrainians are our people, this is our territory, ”he said.
According to him, he himself would have solved the Ukrainian “issue” long ago, but an appropriate instruction is needed.
“Either I would have attached the Chechen Republic to Ukraine, or I would have taken it long ago, I would have solved the issue there. But there are government agreements that do not allow making such decisions. “
The head of Chechnya accused Western countries of intending to deploy military bases in Ukraine and thereby dictate conditions to Russia.
“I am sure our president will not allow it. And we – the infantry, are ready to leave and carry out the order absolutely without any problems, ”he said.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, against the background of the conflict with Ukraine, stated that Russians and Ukrainians are one people. According to him, “I perceive the wall that has arisen in recent years between Russia and Ukraine, between parts, in fact, of the same historical and spiritual space, as a great common misfortune, as a tragedy”.
