Collapse at Pulkovo: dozens of flights delayed due to snow

Dozens of flights, both international and domestic, have been delayed at the Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg. The information is posted on the airport website.

Delayed flights to Minsk, Helsinki, Istanbul, Budapest, Moscow, as well as Saransk, Arkhangelsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Yakutsk, Kursk, in other directions.

So, the flight to Minsk was supposed to leave at 14:45, but the time was shifted to 17:00. The flight to Helsinki also took off with a delay: the departure was postponed from 15:15 to 17:15. The plane to Istanbul was supposed to leave at 15:30, and was postponed to 17:15. The plane to Moscow was moved from 16:00 to 17:20, another flight to the capital was moved from 16:10 to 17:20, other flights to the capital were also delayed from forty minutes to an hour.

The flight to Saransk departed at 17:15 instead of 16:20; flights to Arkhangelsk and Nizhny Novogod were also delayed for an hour. The flight to Yakutsk was postponed from 17:00 to 21:00.

Other flights to different cities are also delayed.

As eyewitnesses write on social networks, the reason for all the delays is uncleared snow on the runways. More than 40 aircraft are waiting for the lanes to be cleaned.
