In Kursk, a sentence was passed on a man who bit a colleague at a corporate party, including biting off his ear. According to the verdict of the Kirovsky district court of the city, the man will spend two years in the colony, the press service of the court reports.

According to police, the incident took place in October last year in the Novaya Boevka park. The employees of a commercial organization were “walking”. The defendant named Smirenin got very drunk and had a fight with a previously unknown 35-year-old colleague, who was also drunk. A fight broke out, Smirenin knocked his opponent to the ground and crushed him with his body.

Then he bit the victim for the middle finger of his right hand, which was put in front of him, then again bit him on the left forearm, and “under the curtain” tore off a part of his left ear with his teeth.

The victim immediately turned to doctors. A criminal case was initiated into the incident. The examination established that the victim suffered serious harm to his health, since “the injuries cannot be restored.”

At the trial, Smirenin paid 800 thousand rubles to the victim as compensation for moral damage. The court sent Smirenin to a general regime colony for two years. They took him into custody in the courtroom. The verdict has not entered into legal force and can be appealed.
