The authorities of Ulan-Ude are ready to resettle people in the event of an unfavorable scenario to eliminate the consequences of the accident that occurred on Thursday morning at TPP-1. The head of the city Igor Shutenkov told the journalists about it.
According to him, “temporary accommodation centers” are currently being determined, and if necessary, the authorities will “make a decision to resettle people,” RIA Novosti reports.
Recall that on Thursday morning in the capital of Buryatia, the electrical wiring at CHPP-1 caught fire, as a result of which four boilers were turned off, a republican emergency regime was introduced, and the supply of heat to houses was sharply reduced. Later, the fire was extinguished, now restoration work is underway, but the work of kindergartens and schools has been temporarily suspended.
Meanwhile, the head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov, who is on a business trip in Syria, said in a video message that he was hastily returning to the region. “I will get home in the shortest possible time by all possible means,” he assured.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor’s office of Buryatia has begun an investigation into the fact of a fire at CHPP-1, as a result of which the heat supply in some districts of Ulan-Ude is reduced and there is no hot water.
And the authorities of Ulan-Ude, in connection with the fire at CHPP-1, opened a round-the-clock “hot line” for the population.
