Ukraine allowed the opportunity to “listen to Russia” at the “second summit” of the world

The head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Andriy Ermak, said that Ukraine is ready to consider inviting Russia to the so-called “peace summit” in the future. He stated this at a press conference with the heads of the Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Hungary.

However, first, according to Ermak, it is necessary to create some kind of “general plan.” He explained that the first summit is expected without the participation of the Russian Federation – at the level of leaders of other states, then a series of meetings and conferences is expected to develop a plan. “And at the second summit at the leader level, when the plan is ready, we are ready to consider inviting Russian representatives,” Yermak said.

Let us note that Moscow has repeatedly indicated that it is ready for negotiations, but in Ukraine they are prohibited at the legislative level. “Russia has never refused peace negotiations with Ukraine. It was Ukraine, not Russia, that publicly announced that it was withdrawing from the negotiation process,” noted Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the same time, the West ignores Kyiv’s refusal to negotiate.

The Kremlin has also repeatedly stated that the so-called “peace formula” of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not take into account the current modern realities and the well-known demands of Moscow. Without this, it is not possible for the situation to return to a peaceful direction. At present, Russia does not see any prerequisites for negotiations – achieving the goals of the special operation, which the Russian Federation considers a priority, is so far only possible through military means.
