“The worst financial decisions are impulsive decisions and under the influence of someone’s advice or someone else’s example,” said the head of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina.
According to her, RIA Novosti reports, when deciding on the “fate” of your money, you need to focus on your own income and expenses, and not on rush demand or someone’s advice. Nabiullina explained that advice or even an example from other people may be unsuccessful for a person in other circumstances. “We need to measure it not with someone else’s example, but with our own analysis of income and expenses,” she stressed.
The head of the Central Bank added that she personally “would have thought strongly” before buying anything “on the wave” of rumors that some goods “will surely rise in price.” She clarified: the price may correct, go down, not up, or the rise in price will be slow, or the rush demand will pass or there will be better offers.
“Common sense is the main thing!” – summed up Nabiullina.
