The Northern capital has simplified the procedure for issuing parking permits issued to residents.
As reported in the press service of Smolny, the Transport Committee has prepared changes to the resolution of the city government as part of the execution of the instructions of the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
The document establishes the right of the owner of an apartment in a building located in a paid parking zone to issue two resident parking permits. A similar right is provided for someone who occupies such an apartment on the basis of a social or official tenancy agreement.
Smolny explained that a resident of St. Petersburg can obtain two parking permits; for this, four possible options have been thought of. Thus, a city resident can issue a document for two cars for himself or for an individual who is not the owner of the property or a share in it, but is registered in this apartment.
Another scenario involves submitting documents for a parking permit for two cars in relation to two individuals who are not the owners of the residential premises or shares in it, but are registered in this apartment. The resolution allows for another option, in which the document is issued in the name of a St. Petersburg resident and one individual who is not the owner of the residential premises or a share in it, but is registered in this apartment – in relation to the individual’s own car and the car.
It is noted that for one apartment you can get two parking permits and one for a separate personal rent invoice, if this is a communal apartment.
Earlier it was reported that more than 54 thousand cars with closed license plates were identified in the paid parking zone in St. Petersburg.
