From 8,000 soles! Indecopi auctions off properties in Santiago de Surco, Callao and more

This Wednesday, January 31, the Indecopi Coercive Execution Unit will carry out the first property auction of the year 2024. In this event, eight properties located in Lima will be offered, which have been confiscated from individuals and companies that failed to pay fines after violating consumer rights or for not complying intellectual property regulations.

The auction will take place in the auditorium of Indecopi’s main headquarters, which is located on Avenida Del Aire No. 384, in the San Borja district, specifically in block 15 of Avenida Canada. This event represents an opportunity to acquire properties in the capital, while reflecting the institution’s commitment to the protection of consumer rights and intellectual property.

How to participate in the Indecopi auction?

To participate in an auction organized by Indecopi, it is essential to follow these steps:

1. It is necessary to arrive at least 20 minutes before the time established for the auction, making sure to bring a valid National Identity Document (DNI). Participation will not be allowed to those with expired documents.
2. Interested parties must demonstrate that they have at least 10% of the estimated value of the property they wish to acquire. This amount can be presented in cash or through a cashier’s check issued to Indecopi.
3. If you represent a third party, whether a natural person or a company, it is essential to present an updated power of attorney registered in the corresponding office.
