The head of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund granted the wish of a boy with cerebral palsy

Although the New Year holidays are over, children continue to receive gifts as part of the all-Russian charity event “Tree of Wishes.” As the press service of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund reported to RosBalt news agency, the Chairman of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, Ilya Balanin, fulfilled the dream of 11-year-old Eduard from Ufa, giving him a wall bars for physical therapy.

The boy is diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He really likes to work out with a physical therapy instructor. But in order to perform more complex exercises, develop new skills and continue to strengthen his muscles, he needed special sports equipment.

Edward likes to watch cartoons and listen to songs by the group “Alice”. He thanked Ilya Balanin for the gift and wished the head of the MHIF good health.

Let us note that earlier “Dedov Morozov’s Landing” congratulated the patients of the new federal children’s rehabilitation center “Korablik” on the New Year, which was opened by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Children’s Day – employees of the Ministry of Health handed over a set of sound equipment to the center. According to Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Evgenia Kotova, “Korablik” has already provided assistance to almost two thousand children with various diseases. In seven months, small patients with the most complex and severe diseases from all over Russia, including from new regions, underwent comprehensive recovery.

The Korablik center is located on an area of ​​over 48 thousand square meters; it has at its disposal more than 1,300 units of modern medical equipment. The center also has a swimming pool and hydrotherapy areas for rehabilitation with an anti-gravity effect in water. In addition to physical rehabilitation, the center has a psychological and speech therapy service. For young patients and their parents, there are wards that meet all modern requirements, areas for games, leisure and creative spaces, as well as an area for walking. Medical rehabilitation is carried out under the compulsory medical insurance policy for children from 1 month to 18 years.
