Firstly, the specialist suggests setting yourself up correctly. “Think about Saturday and don’t skip lunch. Dream about what your day off will be like after a work week. Try to think it through to the smallest detail,” advises Abakumov.

In addition, in his opinion, breaks should be taken more often at work so that the first working days are not so painful. You should definitely leave time for a little rest and a cup of coffee. You should also not skip lunch, but the emphasis should be on protein foods – poultry, fish, beef or beans are suitable.

It is also important to normalize your sleep – to do this, you should give up the habit of being on your phone before bed. The brain needs rest, otherwise it will spend half the night digesting information, says the doctor. He also advises ventilating the room before going to bed, since stuffiness provokes a feeling of weakness. It’s also important to close the curtains and go to bed at the same time – around 10:30 p.m., so that the body actively produces dopamine, serotonin and melatonin. And to reduce stress in the morning, it is better to set a calmer melody on the alarm clock – thereby the sound will not provoke a sudden surge of adrenaline, the expert says.
