United Russia volunteers today held a master class on weaving camouflage nets for SVO participants at the regional election headquarters of the country’s presidential candidate Vladimir Putin.
According to one of the activists of the volunteer movement, Andrei Blinov, this is a very serious and important work – camouflage shelters, a type of which are camouflage nets, are necessary for Russian military personnel who are defending the country these days.
That is why master classes on their production are held in city cultural and leisure centers, universities in the Northern capital, and branches of United Russia. “I honestly admit, as a member of the Northern Military District, camouflage nets are consumables, but they are very important and necessary for fighters, because they often save their lives,” said Yevgeny Shuvalov, co-chairman of the regional election headquarters of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin.
According to the co-chairman of the regional election headquarters, Alexei Demidov, by participating in this necessary work, volunteers learn the science of mutual assistance. “Today this is important for our headquarters, for the city, and for the whole country,” he noted, especially emphasizing that people come to help at the call of their hearts. And this applies not only to the production of camouflage nets: these are letters with words of support and gratitude – to soldiers at the front and to the wounded undergoing treatment in hospitals, and parcels for the military.
In the near future, along with humanitarian supplies, camouflage nets made by volunteers will be sent to the special military operation zone. At the same time, the headquarters noted, any St. Petersburg resident can join in weaving camouflage nets to help our soldiers.
