The Moscow government will take part in the Smart Cities India Expo in New Delhi

A delegation from the Moscow government will take part in the Smart Cities India Expo in New Delhi, India on January 17–19, 2024.

As reported by the Moscow Center for International Cooperation, the latest achievements under the Smart City program will be presented at the stand of the capital of the Russian Federation. Visitors will be told how Moscow is achieving its goals of sustainable development and creating a comfortable urban environment.

At the opening of the exhibition, as well as in a number of sessions within the framework of the Smart Cities India Expo business program, the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of External Economic and International Relations, Chairman of the Board of the Business Council for Cooperation with India Sergei Cheremin will speak. “We will tell our Indian partners about information and high-tech solutions and successful experience in implementing the Smart City project, about the intelligent transport system, the provision of public services online, the Moscow Electronic School platform, and the use of artificial intelligence,” noted Sergey Cheremin.

The Moscow delegation will also take part in the business forum, which will be held on January 18 at The Leela Palace hotel. Russian and Indian companies specializing in the field of information technology and urban infrastructure development will take part in it.

The event is organized by the Department of External Economic and International Relations of the city of Moscow, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India, the Trade Mission of Russia in India, the Business Council for Cooperation with India, and the ANO Moscow Center for International Cooperation.
