The Cathedral of Christ the Savior will host a charity concert “The Joy of Christmas in the Family Circle”

On January 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., a children’s charity concert “The Joy of Christmas in the Family Circle” will take place in the hall of the church cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The event is held within the framework of the Orthodox Humanitarian Mission.

As the organizers note, Christmas is not just a holiday, it is a special time when everyone strives to become better, to give their love and kindness to loved ones. This is the time when the heart is filled with the expectation of miracles and triumph.

The concert will feature young talents from the Neposedy theater studio, laureates of the international competition “Hali-Halo” in the Republic of Belarus Vlada Tabola, Vladimir Zalessky and the Sunrise choir, art studio “Prazdnik” (St. Petersburg). Talented children will perform songs, poems and perform dance numbers dedicated to the bright holiday of Christmas.

Special guests of the charity event will be Honored Artist of Russia Zara and People’s Artist of Russia Alexander Oleshko.

As part of the event, an award ceremony will take place for the winners of the children’s drawing competition “Christmas by the Fireplace”, organized by the Center for Cultural Cooperation named after St. Spyridon of Trimifuntsky together with the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Moscow “OKTs SAO” with the support of the State Budgetary Institution of Culture of Moscow “Mosrazvitie”. An exhibition of drawings by competition participants will be organized in the foyer of the concert hall.

The concert was organized by the Center for Cultural Cooperation named after St. Spyridon of Trimifuntsky together with the children’s theater-studio “Fidgets” with the support of the Association of Large Families of Moscow and the publishing house “Good Tales”.

All funds raised will be used to implement charitable programs of the Orthodox Humanitarian Mission.
