In the Primorsky Territory, regular police operations continue to identify foreign citizens violating the laws on staying in Russia. In just the week from January 1 to January 7, 2024, 26 people were identified who were in the region illegally, writes FederalPress.
According to information provided by the press service of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Primorsky Territory, police officers actively carried out checks in more than 230 places where foreign citizens were staying. The employees placed special emphasis on their place of residence and work in this region.
As a result of these raids, violations were identified among 36 foreign citizens who were subject to administrative liability. In addition, the courts decided to deport 26 migrants from Russia. Of this number, 13 people will leave the country by decision of the authorities, and the remaining 13 decided to act of their own free will.
Primorsky Krai continues to tighten control over compliance with migration laws and security on its territory, paying special attention to the fight against illegal migration. These measures are aimed at ensuring security and lawfulness in the region.
