On New Year’s Eve, villages in the Belgorod region were subjected to massive shelling. As the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on Telegram, at least 194 shells were fired at the villages of the region.
The largest number of arrivals was recorded in the Belgorod region: two artillery shells and 49 grenade launchers were fired at the village of Naumovka, 29 grenade launchers and four artillery shells were fired at the village of Shchetinovka, 15 artillery shells were fired at the village of Krasny Khutor, another five were fired at the village of Ustinovka, one was fired at Tserkovny farm. And an unmanned aerial vehicle was landed in the village of Solntsevka.
A drone with a bomb was also landed in the Borisov region, but the explosive device did not detonate. Also, two mortar shells fell on the outskirts of the village of Stary, Volokonovsky district, and in the village of Teshanka, a communications facility was damaged as a result of shelling.
Also, six mortar shells were fired on the outskirts of the village of Mokraya Orlovka, Grayvoronsky urban district, and 33 shells fell in the village of Spodaryushino, five – in the village of Poroz. In addition, a shell arrived in the village of Ilek-Penkovka in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district of the region, five arrivals were also recorded in the village of Terebreno, and six more mortar shells were fired at the regional center of the Shebekinsky urban district. In the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka – 12, in the village of Murom – two, in the village of Sereda and the Mukhin farm – six and seven mortar shells, respectively. The village of Krasnoye also came under mortar fire—four arrivals were recorded.
