For the new year, citizens are looking for laws that guarantee their security, new political actors and a firm hand in the fight against organized crime in Ecuador. (OR)

Laws must be reformed so that they guarantee the safety of citizens and that criminals really pay for their actions. That the laws really benefit the citizens.

Furthermore, I believe that the roads and streets should be militarized, so that citizens can really see that there is security and feel protected. Nowadays, especially in this day and age, I haven’t seen anything like it.

Laws cannot be paid for by words, it must be really shown that something is being done for security. (OR)

The imperative change that must be made in our Ecuador, undoubtedly, is to achieve greater security by acting under the protection of law, with renewed laws and people suited to perform such important and delicate functions.

Of course, the difficult and difficult task must be complemented by the determined cooperation of citizens, from every neighborhood, in order to achieve the goals. If the citizens feel safe, they will be able to work, produce and progress, realizing integral development.

Reorganization of the police force is necessary and decisions will have to be made in order to achieve the desired results. (OR)

Marcelo Moncayo

In order to guarantee security and development, it is necessary to strictly fight against organized crime, but with a social policy that promotes education, dignified work and recreation for children and young people. Violence without social measures will only bring more violence, because our youth will be seduced by criminal groups. (OR)

Oswaldo Vera

This is a question that has been answered several times, the answer is to act with a firm hand and without mercy against crime. There is no work in the country, nor will there be for a long time, because of the violence we are experiencing. Acting by making a pact with criminals is not appropriate.

Unfortunately, violence is leading our country into the deepest abyss, there are politicians who are involved in the violent system, but also others who have destroyed its economy. The state needs new people who will work for it, not for personal interests. (OR)
