The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation recognized the projects of Akunin and Dyer as undesirable

The Ministry of Justice added four new NGOs to the list of foreign non-governmental organizations whose activities are recognized as undesirable in Russia.

The list of undesirables includes: Russian America for Democracy in Russia (Russian America for Democracy in Russia), USA; True Russia Limited (“Real Russia”), Great Britain (an organization previously recognized as a foreign agent was created with the participation of the writer Boris Akunin, included in the list of persons involved in terrorism and extremism); Global Investigative Journalism Network (USA); Nodibinājums “Helpdesk Media Foundation” (“Media Foundation “Help Desk”, “Help Desk”) (Republic of Latvia). This is a project of media manager and former head of Yandex.Lavka Ilya Krasilshchik.

Let us recall that earlier Rosfinmonitoring included the writer Boris Akunin (pseudonym of Grigory Chkhartishvili) in the list of persons and organizations in relation to which there is information about their involvement in extremist activities or terrorism.

In June of this year, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sentenced the former head of Yandex.Lavka, media manager Ilya Krasilshchik in absentia to eight years in prison as part of a case of fakes about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
