The collection of signatures in support of the nomination of Vladimir Putin for the presidential election continues in St. Petersburg

At the regional election headquarters of Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg (Krasnogvardeyskaya Square, 3), the collection of signatures in support of his nomination for the presidential elections, which will take place in March 2024, continues.

Together with the St. Petersburg residents, State Duma deputy Mikhail Romanov also left his signature for the nomination of the Russian leader.

Having filled out the subscription sheet, Romanov explained why he decided to support Putin. He recalled that in 2002, “our country was practically on the verge of collapse.” “And in 23 years, our president has restored citizens’ trust in power, restored respect for Russia and Russian citizens around the world, and returned the independence of our country,” the deputy emphasized.

He noted that residents of the Northern capital actively support their fellow countryman. “St. Petersburg residents see how the city has changed over 23 years, what powerful development it has received thanks to the will of the president, his attention to St. Petersburg – infrastructural, social, economic, industrial. And, of course, it is very important for us that development continues at an equally powerful pace,” Romanov noted.

Let us remind you that Vladimir Putin is running for elections as a self-nominated candidate. The initiative group created in his support needs to collect 300 thousand signatures for the candidate throughout Russia in order to register with the Central Election Commission. Presidential elections will be held on March 15, 16 and 17, 2024. For the first time, residents of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will take part in them.

Please note that signatures in support of a candidate can be left at the public reception from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This site will also host educational and cultural events in which all city residents will be able to participate. Volunteers are collecting signatures in all districts of the city – in total, there are 39 subscription points in the Northern capital.
