Businessman who received threats if he named Sebastián Yunda’s mother in his version will give his early testimony in the case of illicit association

The businessman Gonzalo A. will give his testimony in advance in the case for illicit association in which Sebastián Yunda and seven other people are being prosecuted.

Sebastián Yunda and Novoa are part of a list of defendants that is completed with César Yunda, Sebastián’s uncle; Christian Hernández, former advisor to Jorge Yunda; Cinthya Puga, former chief of staff for Mayor Yunda; Adrián Haro, former manager of the public company EMSeguridad; businesswoman Nancy Gaibor and her husband, the former director of the Ecuadorian-China Chamber of Commerce Yinlong Wang.

Gonzalo A. pointed out in his version that for their event they had international artists such as Maelo Ruiz, Jorge Celedón, Alberto Barros, (…) and they were looking for national artists that “enhance the fair”.

“During this organization, a local group called 4AM contacted us by telephone, in which Sebastián Yunda plays and is a part, asking us for his desire to participate in our international fair and to promote his group. (…) After analyzing with my partner Esteban T. we decided to accept the investment proposal by the 4AM group at our fair, “he said.

The 4AM representatives offered to invest and help them get private support for the event, said Gonzalo A. “The investment proposal initially consisted of a contribution to advertising and development of our $ 20,000 fair by the 4AM group (…) With the help of several companies and the investment of 4AM, we started with my partner Esteban T. and my collaborator Pamela Novoa to launch the international fair ”.

According to the version, 4AM’s technical requirements and needs were channeled by its representative, Isabel Yunda, who is Sebastián’s mother. At the end of the version, Gonzalo A. said that it is with everything he could contribute in the case and due to the threats received he preferred not answering questions from either the Prosecutor’s Office or the attorneys present.
