In Russia, fines for not allowing gas workers into apartments will increase fivefold

From January 1, fines for not allowing gas service specialists and employees who service ventilation ducts into an apartment will increase. The Prime agency writes about this.

So, instead of the currently established fine of up to 2 thousand rubles, you will have to pay from 5 to 10 thousand rubles. At the same time, fines for gas equipment specialists have also been tightened for improper performance of duties – a fine for an employee is provided in the amount of 25 to 100 thousand rubles, and for an organization – from 200 to 500 thousand rubles, the publication writes with reference to the dean of the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of Economics. According to him, in 2024 other changes in the field of housing legislation that affect property owners will come into force. Thus, from 2024, fines for violating fire safety in an apartment will be increased. From January, the fine will be from 5 to 15 thousand rubles instead of 2-3 thousand.

In addition, residents of Moscow who have not yet legalized the redevelopment of their apartment, but have already done it, will face a fine for this from January 1 – from two to 2.5 thousand rubles for citizens and from 40 to 50 thousand rubles for legal entities .

Also, from January 1, the moratorium on the collection of fines for failure to fulfill obligations to install, replace and commission smart meters expires. If the moratorium is not extended, then from January next year officials will be punished with a fine of 20 to 30 thousand rubles, and organizations – from 50 to 100 thousand rubles.
