“Our everything, our pride!”: Garik Sukachev stood up for Pugacheva

Singer Alla Pugacheva has recently been actively criticized in Russia – for leaving the Russian Federation, for not supporting the special operation in Ukraine and for making harsh comments about Russians, calling them “slaves and serfs.” Singer Garik Sukachev stood up for the Diva, writes News.ru.

He called her a cult personality for Russia, noting that her creative achievements outweigh her political views.

“This is our everything. This is pride,” said Sukachev, adding that he is proud of Pugacheva “not just as a singer, but as a citizen who has done so much for the country, for the people.” He added that Pugacheva is “a person of colossal courage.”

Let us note that Sukachev supports official Russian policy, but does not criticize his colleagues and other former fellow citizens who left Russia with the beginning of the Northern Military District. He believes that everyone has the right to their own point of view.

Earlier, Pugacheva called Russians “slaves and serfs,” and then explained herself for these words. The media wrote that the singer, who left the Russian Federation after the Northern Military District, decided to return to Russia and is already packing her bags. However, the artist came to the Russian Federation only for a few days. What exactly she did in the Russian Federation—solving real estate issues, visiting friends, recording songs—remained a mystery. Publications write that the singer is considering the option of settling in London.
