The Russian authorities intend to digitize driver’s licenses and car sales contracts. Maksut Shadayev, the head of the Ministry of Digital Security, spoke about these plans at a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and the government.
According to Shadayev, RIA Novosti reports, the introduction of digital rights will require equipping traffic police inspectors with new secure tablets that will work online. The sources and amount of funding for this work are being worked out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Also, Shadayev noted, the innovation will help solve the issue of drawing up protocols right at the scene of the incident, reduce labor intensity and speed up the process of registering violations immediately in digital form.
We will remind, earlier today the lawyer of the Public movement of motorists “Freedom of choice” lawyer Sergei Radko said that in Russia it is impossible to solve the problem with road markings, which is not visible under the snow. According to Radko, the problem is insoluble, “because we can’t do anything about our winter.” “And immediately removing the snow is also unrealistic. Therefore, everyone can only be more attentive, ”he stressed.
