The XIV Indian-Russian Business Dialogue will be held in Moscow on December 19, 2023. It is expected that the forum, organized by the Indian Business Alliance (IBA) with the support of the Business Council for Cooperation with India (BCCI), the Department of External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, the Roscongress Foundation with the information support of RIA Novosti, will traditionally become the most important discussion platform and an important contribution to deepening and expanding the strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields.
“Today, when the landscape of world politics is steadily changing, cooperation and intensified contacts continue to grow steadily between Russia and India. Russia and India are countries with significant influence and powerful potential, they are united by common goals and aspirations and are reliable partners, interacting and collaborating in various fields, such as the development of transport infrastructure, sustainable development of megacities, mechanical engineering, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, digital technologies, energy, finance, trade and many others. For 14 years now, the forum has become a place for constructive dialogue and problem solving in bilateral cooperation,” said Sergei Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of External Economic and International Relations of the city.
The forum will be attended by heads of ministries, departments and regions of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of business and public institutions. In total, 20-25 speakers are expected to speak, and the total number of offline participants in the business dialogue is estimated at 600 people.
The organizers call the plenary session the central event of the business dialogue, which will be dedicated to the present day and the prospects for the development of bilateral trade and the growth of investments between India and Russia.
In addition, the topics of discussion at the forum will be support for innovation and entrepreneurship, issues of trade and logistics, tourism, technology, e-commerce, cooperation in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals, culture, agriculture, energy, and digital transformation.
