Otar Kushanashvili ambiguously assessed the latest work of Zhora Kryzhovnikov

The popular series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt” became the object of everyone’s attention due to its sudden popularity. Fans are waiting for the completion of the plot, and the latest episodes already available on the Internet are generating interest. However, not everyone shares the enthusiasm for the crime drama, including director Otar Kushanashvili, who expressed criticism about the work of Zhora Kryzhovnikov, FederalPress writes.

“I really like Ivan Yankovsky, I know his mother Oksana Fandera and father Philip. I like Ivan not because I am friends with his family, but because he is a gifted guy. But the actor played in shit,” said Kushanashvili.

According to the director, he turned off the series after 27 minutes of viewing, believing that Kryzhovnikov failed to convey to the younger generation the important message that copying the behavior of the main characters is unacceptable.

It is noted that Kushanashvili is worried that teenagers may misinterpret events and romanticize the behavior of the characters in the series. It is important to note that he expressed his criticism of the script and the general concept of the project, but has no comments on the acting, emphasizing that all the actors did an excellent job. It must be recalled that after the release of the first episodes, previously little-known actors such as Leon Kemstach, Ruzil Minekaev, Lev Zulkarnaev and others became popular and gained wide recognition.
