To protect all educational facilities in Russia, 600 billion rubles will be required per year.

To ensure the safety of all educational facilities in Russia, an annual allocation of funds in the amount of 600 billion rubles will be required, said Advisor to the Director of the Russian Guard Igor Pyshkin. He said that to achieve this goal, it is necessary to hire approximately 700 thousand new employees.

At a committee meeting in the State Duma, Pyshkin emphasized that the issue of the safety of all Ministry of Education facilities in the country had been considered by the department for two years, RT writes.

“To achieve this goal, we need to attract an additional approximately 700 thousand new employees and allocate about 600 billion additional rubles annually,” TASS quotes him as saying.

Earlier, Olga Khokhlova, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, expressed her opinion on ensuring safety in schools. The senator proposed tightening the licensing of security organizations cooperating with schools.

Khokhlova noted that today schools have video cameras and panic buttons, but security is carried out by the staff of educational institutions. In her opinion, these employees should be professionally trained and know how to act in emergency situations. In a conversation with Parliamentary Gazeta, Khokhlova emphasized the need to tighten the licensing of security companies providing their services to educational institutions.

In her opinion, it is also necessary to increase the number of hours allocated to life safety lessons, especially for practice.
