In less than two hours, two traffic accidents were reported in Cuenca’s road accesses. The emergencies resulted in the death of one person and affected four others, this Monday the 13th.
The first accident was registered at 06:40 am according to information from ECU911 in the Guangarcucho (Llacao) sector on the Panamericana Norte.
At the site, emergency teams from the Fire Department, the Ministry of Health and the Ecuadorian Transit Commission (CTE) were mobilized to the area.
At the site, first aid personnel treated two people affected by the collision between a bus and a car. Both affected, aged 23 and 33, respectively, were transferred to the Vicente Corral and José Carrasco hospitals, in the Azuayan capital.

Firefighters units, the Ministry of Health and the CTE attended to collaborate in the emergency.

At the site, the death of a 65-year-old man, who was as co-pilot of the light vehicle, was also verified.
