An eighth-grader started shooting at a gymnasium in Bryansk. The girl came to school with a shotgun, entered the classroom where a biology lesson was being held, and opened fire, reports the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Bryansk region.

According to the Baza Telegram channel, the children tried to hide under their desks. The teachers tried unsuccessfully to reason with the girl. It was previously determined that the student fired five shots and then committed suicide after the shooting.

Information about the victims is being clarified. Mash writes that as a result, two people were killed and five were injured. One of the four injured boys is now in intensive care. The second victim, besides the shooter, was her classmate.

The emergency occurred in gymnasium No. 5. According to media reports, the girl’s name is Alina A., and “she was bullied at school since elementary school.” According to RT, the students of the Bryansk gymnasium with the whole class held the door of the office where the shooter was breaking in. According to the guys, the schoolgirl was late for her first lesson, biology. “I took a weapon out of my briefcase and then shot at two classmates, one of the schoolgirls died. The schoolgirl wounded another student at the gymnasium on the second floor, then went up to the fourth, where she committed suicide,” the media reported, citing eyewitnesses.

State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein published a photo of the weapon the girl came to school with on Telegram. According to him, this is a Bekas-3 hunting rifle that belongs to her father.
