National Assembly prepares Christmas party for assembly members and servers

The event includes a talent show, artistic presentations and delivery of Christmas baskets

The National Assembly prepares for this Wednesday, December 15, starting at 3:00 p.m., a Christmas and New Year’s Eve entertainment for the legislative servants, security personnel, cleaning and maintenance of the institution.

The invitation to the Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebration is made by the president of the National Assembly, Guadalupe Llori; the members of the Legislative Administration Council and the bench coordinators.

The celebration includes a talent show, a toast by December’s birthday assembly members, lighting of the Christmas tree, burning of the old year, artistic performances and delivery of Christmas baskets.

The event, which will start at 3:00 p.m., includes a program with 9 points:

  1. Christmas message from Guadalupe Llori, president of the National Assembly.
  2. Talent show in charge of each of the legislative benches, administrative secretariats, Asosel and legislative escort of the National Assembly.
  3. Tribute for Christmas, which involves a meal of integration.
  4. Toast for the birthday of the month of December, in charge of the president of the National Assembly, Guadalupe Llori.
  5. Words by Gruber Zambrano, assembly member for the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.
  6. Lighting of the Christmas tree.
  7. Burning of the old year.
  8. Artistic presentations.
  9. Delivery of Christmas baskets.

Through an institutional statement it was clarified that for the announced entertainment, the National Assembly does not incur any expenditure of public resources.

That the Christmas celebrations, which are traditionally held in public and private institutions in the country, are an opportunity to share and thank for the work carried out, as well as to fraternize and strengthen the bonds of friendship between those who make it up. (I)
