The property was evacuated this afternoon after 3:00 p.m.
An alert about the presence of an alleged bomb was reported this afternoon at the El Oro Court of Justice building, on Rocafuerte street between Guayas and Ayacucho, in Machala.
After a threatening call entered to ECU-911, the building was evacuated immediately after 3:00 pm on Monday the 13th. Likewise, the adjacent roads are temporarily kept with circulation restrictions.
Members of the National Police keep entry to the building restricted until the presence of a dangerous object is ruled out or confirmed.
For this, anti-explosive teams of the Police and firefighters went to the premises. The units carry out an inspection of each of the floors of the Court building.
For now, the judicial proceedings scheduled for this afternoon remain suspended.
So far this year, several alerts of the same type have been reported. In all cases, police procedures ruled out the presence of explosives or other dangerous objects. (I)
