He is charged with the commission of a crime under part 2 of Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of medium-gravity harm to health”).
A 16-year-old girl received a chemical burn to her face, head, neck, torso, arms, as well as a chemical burn to the corneas of her eyes. Both she and her companion are in the hospital. The condition of the girl is assessed as grave, the condition of the 18-year-old young man is assessed as satisfactory.
The accused himself, 24-year-old Daniil Kot (Daniyal Talibov), announced that he was initially going to cut his veins, but, feeling pain, changed his mind. At the same time, he assures that he and the victim were united only by platonic love.
