Margarita Gracheva, whose hands were cut off by her husband, is afraid of his leaving the colony

Margarita Gracheva, whose hands were chopped off with an ax by her husband out of jealousy in 2017 as she was preparing for divorce, is worried about what will happen after he leaves the colony.

As the young woman told StarHit, she is currently happy. After the tragedy, Gracheva underwent prosthetics and was able to lead a full life.

She also managed to meet a man who restored her faith in real men. The woman moved with her family to St. Petersburg. In her new marriage, Margarita Gracheva had a third child; in addition, she and her husband are raising two children from the woman’s first marriage.

“Of course, I’m very happy now, but someday Dima will be released, and we don’t know at all what’s on his mind,” Gracheva told reporters. According to her, before her sons turn 18, she does not intend to encourage them to communicate with their father, who was deprived of parental rights after his crime.

Let us recall that after the Grachevs’ marital union began to collapse due to the pathological jealousy of the husband, Dmitry Grachev deceitfully took his wife into the forest, where he tied her up and began to beat her hands with an ax. After that, he took her to the hospital, and he himself went to write a confession to the police. Doctors managed to save only one hand for the woman; a biomechanical prosthesis was later installed on the second hand.

Grachev was sentenced to 14 years in prison, and later deprived of parental rights to his two sons.
