With a cable, a woman would have committed suicide inside a condominium apartment, in a building where a five-star hotel operates located in the Barbasquillo citadel, in the west of Manta.
The deceased was identified as Naomi Michell Arcentales Sabando, 23 years old. Relatives indicated that she was a model and lived in the place with her partner, who works as a prosecutor in a canton in the north of Manabí.
The incident took place around 8:00 p.m. this Sunday on the 13th floor of the building where a hotel also operates. However, Carlos Segovia, lawyer for the Ecuabau company, which is in charge of the hotel, clarified that the incident occurred in a building owned by the couple of the occisa, a horizontal property, ruling out that the young woman was as a guest in that place.
The young woman allegedly had an argument with her partner hours before the incident. The police are investigating the reasons for this apparent suicide, and are also investigating whether the fact that Arcentales, a native of the Pedernales canton, had filed a complaint a few days before this incident for alleged damage to her integrity was confirmed.
