Volunteers who will take part in testing a new vaccine against coronavirus will be paid 10 thousand rubles each. The Gamaleya Center has announced a competition for organizing the tests, according to the State Procurement website.
According to these data, people from 18 to 55 years old will be able to participate – a total of 920 volunteers, each of whom will be paid 10 thousand rubles. In the first phase of the test, 360 people will take part, and in the second – 560 people.
The new vaccine is currently being tested in animals. As part of the vaccine, there is no genetic material of the causative agent of the infection, but only its imitation.
Earlier it was reported that adolescents from Moscow who are taking part in clinical trials of the Sputnik M coronavirus vaccine will be paid 15 thousand rubles each, regardless of whether they received a valid vaccine or a placebo. A total of 3 thousand adolescents are participating in the third phase of the trial, of which 600 received a placebo. Minors under 15 years of age are vaccinated subject to the informed voluntary consent of their parents or their legal representatives, adolescents over 15 years of age make their own decisions.
