The state of Kentucky was hit hardest, especially the city of Mainfield, where a natural disaster collapsed the roof of a candle factory while there were about 110 people inside.

According to various sources, at least 50 people died in Kentucky. In addition, the hurricane derailed a CSX freight train in the western state. A state of emergency has been declared there. The National Guard is involved in the search for people and the elimination of the consequences.

There are also casualties and destruction in Arkansas, Illinois and Tennessee. According to AFP, at least one person was killed and five were injured when a tornado destroyed the roof of a nursing home in Monette in northern Arkansas.
