Appliance damage, confusing schedules, vehicular traffic, and economic losses are the result of electricity rationalization in Ecuador. (OR)

Undoubtedly, the biggest inconvenience that the rationalization of electricity causes us in our daily life is the daily rush to go to work, take the children to school, and especially the traffic jams that necessarily arise in these cases.

At the same time, there are connectivity inconveniences for those studying virtually from home.

I believe that we must know how to prevent all these inconveniences in time, by those who are obliged to carry out these tasks that benefit all Ecuadorians. (OR)

On Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12, there will be no power outages in Ecuador

The biggest risk due to lack of energy is the loss of traffic lights. The chaos that traffic creates at every intersection, without any traffic mediator to organize, is added to this by outdated and uncontrolled pavements and license plates. All this causes danger of accident and/or consequent loss of time and productivity in work, trade and administration of each person due to delay during transfer. (OR)

The biggest drawback in my case, as well as for other traders, is that it interrupts daily commercial operations. Many of us are losing sales because the vast majority have to invoice electronically. This leads to downtime where some companies decide to close their doors, while others have had to make additional investments by purchasing electricity generators to stay active. (OR)

Ecuador already receives between 30 MW and 35 MW of energy per day from Peru, announced President Lasso

Yleen Morán Andrade

I believe that the commercial sector is the most affected. There is a place near my house that sells breakfast and smoothies, this obviously has losses because the power outages usually happen in the morning. According to the data I have seen in the news and newspapers, in less than a week of rationing, the entire economy was affected.

Power outages also affect traffic lights, which increases the number of traffic accidents, and also creates inconvenience for citizens on their way to work.

The lack of electricity affects all sectors. (OR)
