I have always been asked why artistic actors are important in institutions, and although there are many reasons, I emphasize that they play an important role in the local development of the community, enrich its cultural life, are an institutional image offering high quality. broadcasts and educational opportunities for children and young people for the purpose of versatile upbringing, protection from addiction.

In addition, they contribute to tourism and attract visitors, which benefits the local economy by increasing the influx of tourists. Tourists can come to the city only to see the performances of artistic actors in important and planned seasons, which in turn encourages local commerce, from restaurants to hotels. Good artwork can encourage the audience to identify with the characters and delve into the plot, relate to the message and improve their habits. A performance by an artist can have a lasting impact on an audience. A memorable performance can inspire, move or entertain people, which in turn can lead to deep thinking or emotional change.

They develop creativity and originality that enriches the interpretation and offers a unique dimension. You learn about cohesion and teamwork, for example, a well-coordinated cast working together is essential to a smooth and successful production. Artists must learn to collaborate and complement each other to achieve a harmonious performance, which are important competencies valued in any professional job within any organization, institution or work agency.

Artistic installations also play an important role in representing diversity in society. They can contribute to the inclusion of different perspectives, identities and experiences in the artistic narrative, which is essential for reflecting reality and promoting empathy.

In view of the above, one of the main goals of my administration at the House of Ecuadorian Culture NĂșcleo del Guayas (CCENG) was to prioritize the creation of casts, which is why we have a theater group, the Adult Choir, the Dance School cast, and the Children’s Youth Choir, the Symphony a youth orchestra and a stable professional ballet troupe were added in an inter-institutional alliance with the Prefecture,

This will not only enrich the cultural life of the community, but also have a positive economic effect, encourage cultural tourism, encourage cooperation and develop soft skills in children, youth and adults. These combined factors make our casts a valuable addition to local development, revitalizing urban areas, rebuilding the social fabric, reducing youth addition rates, creating safe spaces, promoting the development of critical thinking and creating community employment opportunities.

We continue our work with the hope that more institutions will join us in order to expand our field of activity, in order to build a more humane, thinking society with healthy habits. (OR)
