She stressed that in the event of aggressive actions by Russia on the border with Ukraine, the G7 will take a tough stance. “We must restrain Russia from this kind of action. We will take a tough stance in the event of Russian aggression in Ukraine. If it came to this, the consequences would be serious, ”said Trass.
Later on Twitter, she noted that with her French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian, they discussed the development of democracy in the world and confronting malicious countries, including Russia.
