Seven-year-old Matvey, who became the 500,000th visitor to the Russia International Exhibition and Forum, received a special prize – a two-day trip with his family to St. Petersburg.

Matvey came to the exhibition from Rostov-on-Don with his mother Tatyana Guzeva. “It’s unexpected and a huge delight,” she said. – This is our real dream – we wanted to go to St. Petersburg in winter or next summer. We associate with this city all the most romantic, all the most tender. I want to see everything, but the moment when the bridges are raised is the most charming.”

The project partners – the Committee for the Development of Tourism of St. Petersburg and JSC Russian Railways – have prepared a rich program for the prize winners: excursions with entrance tickets to museums and a guide, as well as food and accommodation. The certificate for the trip was presented to the family by Natalya Virtuozova, Director General of the ANO “Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements “Russia””, at the St. Petersburg stand in pavilion No. 75 of VDNKh in Moscow.

The certificate will be valid for six months after delivery. Matvey and his family will be able to get to St. Petersburg from their home on a comfortable Russian Railways train. They will visit the architectural ensemble of the ceremonial city center and stroll through the Peter and Paul Fortress, enjoy the beauty of the Hermitage masterpieces, and also get acquainted with the exhibition of the Russian Railway Museum. On the second day of the trip, they will be shown the city of Russian naval glory, Kronstadt.

On the opening day of the exhibition “Russia” on November 4, 191 thousand people visited it, on November 5 – 123 thousand, on November 6 – 134 thousand. In the first three days, the exhibition was visited by 448 thousand people, which is a VDNKh record.
