The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi) issued an early warning bulletin for rains and thunderstorms valid until December 14.

Precipitation events are expected to occur in various locations in the country, which could be accompanied by storms, so it is expected that the most relevant events will occur in the north of the Littoral and the Amazon region.

In the Litoral region, the precipitations will appear in a scattered form (rains and drizzles), the most relevant events will be to the north of the region. While in the Inter-Andean alley, the most intense precipitations will occur in the north of the region and south of the region.

For the Amazon region, the rain episodes could be dispersed mainly in localities near the foothills of the mountain range, presenting between moderate and strong.

Sierra region

Amazon region

Ranging from cloudy to occasional partly cloudy, scattered showers throughout the region with some thunderstorms. It is probable that the greatest intensity is present in the foothills of the mountain range.

Island region
