A criminal case has been initiated against a 24-year-old resident of the city of Nazarovo in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on cruelty to animals (part 1 of article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region, the man tortured a homeless cat.
According to the department, a local resident found the unfortunate animal at the entrance of one of the city’s residential buildings, and she called the police. The suspect was detained without delay.
The man was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of an obligation to appear.

According to the conclusion of the veterinarian, the animal has a concussion, a prolapse of the eyeball from the orbit, hematomas and abrasions on the head and forelimbs, extensive hematomas in the oral cavity, as well as lacerations on the tongue, and the hair on the muzzle is singed.
In the animal protection organization “Four Paws”, which took patronage over the animal, they said that the cat’s eye was saved. After the course of treatment, they will find a house for him.
