A sedentary lifestyle, which leads to blood stagnation, is also harmful – as a result, the brain is not fully supplied with oxygen, which can lead to the development of hypoxia, and this in turn causes headaches, lethargy, fatigue, impaired concentration, and in severe cases, disorientation in space, disturbances of consciousness up to coma.

The brain and neural connections are also relaxed by a small amount or absence of work and communication with people. In addition, night work interferes with removing all the garbage from the brain, which is usually responsible for dementia. And constant stress leads to frequent and high levels of cortisol in the body, which also has a detrimental effect on the brain.

Finally, high blood pressure, lack of education, as well as smoking, obesity and diabetes have a negative impact on cognitive function – they increase the risk of developing dementia by 60%. At the same time, lack of physical exercise increases the risk of developing dementia by 40%, and air pollution by 10%.
