Peskov spoke about Pugacheva’s return to Russia

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov commented on the information about the return to Moscow of singer Alla Pugacheva, who has been living abroad for a long time with her husband and children. The star family settled in Israel, from where they recently moved, according to some sources, to Cyprus, according to others – to the USA.

The Kremlin official noted that Russian citizens can freely leave the country and return to it, regardless of whether they are relatives of foreign agents. The artist’s husband, comedian Maxim Galkin* is included in the list of foreign agents of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. “Relatives of foreign agents, firstly, are not a household name and should not be,” Peskov explained to reporters.

Meanwhile, as MK reports with reference to the Shot Telegram channel, social activists from the “Call of the People” appealed to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, with a call to detain Pugacheva and interrogate her regarding her participation in the financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They also demanded that the artist be fined under the article “Public insult on the Internet” for her posts on social networks in which she called Russians serfs and slaves.

Earlier, the Kremlin commented on the return to Russia of businessmen who had gone abroad.

Let us remind you that singer Alla Pugacheva suddenly returned to Moscow by train from Pskov and went to her castle in the village of Gryaz. According to media reports, the artist could come to the Russian Federation to sell real estate.
