A man was injured during shelling of a city in the Belgorod region

A Ukrainian drone was shot down over the Belgorod region. This was announced by the Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

According to him, the air defense system worked over the Belgorod region, over the village of Novaya Derevnya. The official noted that no one was injured and no damage was detected. In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the information about the downed drone, adding that “an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type UAV was stopped at about 18:10 Moscow time.”

The head of the region also reported shelling from the city of Shebekino. “Some of the shells landed on the territory of one of the industrial enterprises,” Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel. As a result of the shelling, a man was injured, who at that moment was in the parking lot of the enterprise next to his car.

The governor clarified that doctors recorded shrapnel wounds to the victim’s upper and lower extremities. The wounded man was taken by ambulance to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod in a condition of moderate severity.

Speaking about the damage in one of the buildings of the enterprise, the head of the region said that the facade, fencing and glazing of the building were cut, and two cars were also damaged by shrapnel.
