Of course, almost all of them reached old age with a great capacity for leadership, experience and wisdom, full knowledge of the responsibilities entailed in holding the power of political parties. It was this complete realization that alliances were the best form of political action that led them to celebrate the most diverse pacts, the results of which in many cases stunned the country.
