The Israeli authorities suggested that Erdogan take the “murderers” from Gaza to his place

Israel is outraged by Turkey’s support for the Palestinians. After the rally of many thousands that took place the day before in Istanbul, Tel Aviv came out with sharp criticism and suggested that the Turkish authorities provide support not only “from afar,” Kommersant writes, citing Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir.

He suggested that Turkish President Recep Erdogan take in the “killers” from the Gaza Strip. “I see enormous support for Erdogan and his people for the Nazi murderers who killed, robbed and raped our children, our elderly and our women,” the minister noted, adding that he could suggest to Erdogan that he support them not only from afar, but also take back to Turkey.

Earlier, on October 28, a rally in support of the Palestinians was held in Istanbul. Speaking in silence, the Turkish President called Israel an “occupier” of Gaza and promised to declare it a war criminal. Erdogan called the West the main culprit of the war, and Israel, in his opinion, is “a pawn that will one day be sacrificed.” In response, Israel decided to withdraw its diplomats from Turkey, and the country’s permanent representative to the UN, Gilad Erdan, commenting on Erdogan’s statements, noted that “a snake will remain a snake.”

The aggravation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict began on October 7 after Hamas rocket attacks on Israeli territory and the capture of a number of settlements bordering the Gaza Strip. More than 1.4 thousand Israelis were killed, most of them civilians. Hamas militants also took a large number of hostages. According to Gaza’s health ministry, more than 7,600 people have been killed in the strip since Israeli bombing began. On Friday, the WHO said 40% of the dead were children. Currently, the Gaza Strip is blocked – there is no electricity, no Internet, and the supply of heat and water has been interrupted.
