Tural Mamedov, who, according to investigators, is the organizer of attacks by a group of teenagers on passers-by in St. Petersburg, was arrested in absentia by the court and put on the international wanted list, reports the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. It is clarified that a young man born in 2005 is hiding from the authorities.
During the investigation of a criminal case initiated under Part 2 of Art. 213, paragraph “a”, part 2, art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism, incitement to hatred and enmity), 11 people were detained, including natives of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. The court imposed a preventive measure in the form of detention on all detainees; eight have already been charged.
According to investigators, “the young people, acting together by prior conspiracy, grossly violating public order, using violence, acting from hooligan motives, as well as motivated by hatred and enmity, attacked local residents, provoking fights in public places.”
During the search for possible accomplices, investigators, in particular, checked a sports club, a sports club, the territory of one of the factories in the Leningrad region, as well as a number of catering establishments. Violations of sanitary-epidemiological and migration legislation, as well as fire safety standards, were recorded.
