The head of Shlisselburg returned from “Kresty” and took over the administration: then he was fired, and he fired his replacement

A loud scandal is unfolding in Shlisselburg, Kirov district of the Leningrad region. The head of Shlissenburg, Artem Zheludov, who had previously been removed from office by the council of local deputies, seized the administration premises. As reported in the official group of the Kirov region on VKontakte, “Zheludov, released from Kresty, and his accomplices broke into the administration office today at 7.00 am with grinders and chains, threatening violence, kicked out the guards and barricaded the building.” It is noted that documents and servers with government information remained in the room. “In relation to the illegal actions, an appeal was sent to law enforcement agencies,” the message noted.

Representatives of the official claim that he acts strictly within the legal framework: in September, after representation from the prosecutor’s office, Zheludov was reinstated in his position.

Earlier, the media reported that the official was detained as part of an investigation under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for abuse of power, which was associated with problems in the Three Bears residential complex in Priladozhskoye, the acts of acceptance of which he signed when he was head of the administration. village Zheludov was placed in Kresty, but was released on October 5 due to a change in the preventive measure to prohibit certain actions.

It is noteworthy that due to Zheludov’s absence from work on October 5 and 6, the council of deputies decided to temporarily suspend him, and Zheludov himself, in turn, decided to dismiss the acting head of the Shlisselburg administration of Spartak Chkhetia.

Zheludov’s representatives explain his absence from work by the fact that documents on his release from the detention center were received only on the evening of October 6.
